What is a "Enterprise Professional"?

In the weekly email this is described as "Enterprise Professional" hackathon, and it is mentioned on the page a few times. Who are "Enterprise Professionals"? Is there a list of companies considered enterprise enough? Is it enough that I was previously employed in such?
I'd love some clarification regarding that, thanks!

Hey there, good question. The rules specify that the hackathon is open to "Individuals who are at least the age of majority where they reside as of the time of entry and who provide a valid corporate or professional email address associated with their employer" - so you need to be currently employed and will be asked for a company email.

I have a follow up question. I intend to participate in this hackathon as an individual and not representing my employer. I am trying what you would do by obtaining my email address associated with my employer?

Your company email is only asked for to verify your eligibility.

    Thanks Sara for clarifying.

    Hi Sara,

I had a quick question regarding the eligibility criteria for the hackathon. Could you please confirm whether the “Only for Enterprise Professionals” rule applies solely to the distribution of AWS credits, or if it also restricts general participation in the event?

Thank you for your time and clarification.

    Best regards,
    Raghu

This restriction also applies to the hackathon itself.

    Hi Sara,

Wondering if this hackathon is open to students and recent grads?

    Thanks in advance!

The hackathon is not open to students. Participants must present a company/corporate email address in order to be eligible

Hi Sara, My teammate and I are enterprise professionals but we have registered to the hackathon using our personal email addresses. Is there a way to provide our company email addresses in the same project or will we need to re-register? Thanks!

No need to re-register! You will be asked for your company email addresses within your submission. Thanks!
